VOTER REG.

On Saturday, October 9th, the Community Outreach Committee of AAMP, led by mentors Stephanie Lin, Vivian Chen and Wendy Chu, coordinated a voter registration drive in the San Gabriel Asian community. The goal of this event was to get underrepresented minorities in politics registered to vote and have a voice in their local and national government. About 30 student volunteers from the Claremont Colleges participated in the event, which lasted from 11 am to 3pm.Volunteers were split into small groups to cover high pedestrian traffic areas in the community, such as at a local park and supermarkets. As a result of the students’ efforts, more than 100 voters were registered.

Getting community members to vote however did come with its fair share of obstacles. Many student volunteers had problems with language barriers when approaching potential voters, since many of the people they approached primarily spoke Cantonese, Mandarin, or Spanish, or were non-citizens. Many students also had to relocate where they were registering voters, as various sites that had been scouted turned out to be inaccessible or yielded no results. The group with the most success registering voters was Sophia Cheng and Vivian Chen, who registered an impressive 26 voters.

Besides the voter registration drive, the Community Outreach Committee is also planning a workshop on sweatshop labor and a trip to Sweatshop Watch in early December.

PHAROAH'S KINGDOM

A brilliant beam of red light cuts across the floor of the room as one lone gunner sets his sights for the enemy base...She taps one quick burst of light into the mainframe of the tower.  Suddenly, the lights come on and a flood of relief runs through her.  She has won Laser Tag!
Laser tag was one of many different activities to do on the trip to Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom.  People could ride roller coasters, bumper cars, ferris wheels and other theme park-like rides, play mini-golf, eat, or just hang out at the arcades.  Cars were packed on the way there, and faces were smiling on the way back.  The trip was a big hit
among mentors, mentees, and friends alike.

BROOMBALL

On September 25th we played broomball at the local ice skating rink. Over 50 people showed up and ran around happily with brooms and balls. Though one person did get hurt, the event was successful.

WHAT HAPPENED LAST SEMESTER?

On September 29th, 2004, AAMP's Education & Awareness Committee (Wendy Chu, Sophia Cheng, Shane Harris, Mariko Yamazaki, Linda Hahn) put on the first workshop of the year, entitled What Happened Last Semester? An Overview of Spring 2004.  This workshop featured a timeline to recap the events, a diverse series of personal reflections, a Q&A session, and an optional discussion.  The panelists were Sandhya Kishore, Emily Barkley-Levenson, Isaac Potter, Chrisshonna Grant, and Erica Lai.  The purpose of this workshop was to provide the audience with both a  factual overview and a personal connection to the events of last semester.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Ice cream social included was held at the SCC courtyard. Around 200 people probably showed up to enjoy the live music provided by three bands and the make-your-own sundae setup.

MOVIE/BOBA NIGHT

AAMP hosted a Movie and Boba Night on October 20 at 8pm.  Featuring the popular Korean romantic comedy My Sassy Girl and delicious milk tea with boba from Lollicup, the event drew a large crowd and was a huge success.

And I present to you....THE MENTORS OF '04-'05! (pictures courtesy or mike and mariko the photographers)

HEAD MENTORS( in order of non-importance....JUST KIDDING)

Mike Chen

I'm a twenty-year old Pomona College junior from Palos Verdes, California.  At the begining of this semester, due to much nagging from the registar office, I declared biology as my major.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, running, driving aimlessly, and playing the violin.  Music-wise I listen to a lot of indie.  Right now I'm into Broken Social Scene, The Stills, The Shins, Franz Ferdinand, and The Avalanches.  I normally avoid movie soundtracks, but I'm going to say that the Garden State soundtrack is pretty awesome, and everyone should take a listen (and watch the movie if you haven't yet).

Some of my nicknames include Willow (coined by Cathy), Mike (of course), and Check-mark Chen (Linda and James's favorite nickname for me).  Honestly, I don't remember much of my first-year here at Pomona, probably because I was being too drunk in Lyon.  But now I'm mostly sober; having too much work does that to you.  I'm supposed to pretend to be cool, but even that's hard for me, so I'm just going to say that my favorite part of AAMP are the fifteen awesome mentors I have the honor of working with.

Linda Hahn

Nicknames: Linda winda, lindrrr, slinda

Age::21

Major: Econ.

Where I’m from: I was born in LA and I’ve lived in and out of Koreatown and Cerritos since then. (Cerritos is about 40 min SW of Claremont.) I spent a semester in Paris and I hope to return one day.

Hobbies/Interests: Snowboarding, foreign films(esp. French and Korean), design, jason mraz is pretty great, I like to dabble in arts/crafts, I’m a bit of a LOTR (Lord of the Rings) junkie, I like corny jokes and games, and wasting time on the computer. I <3 my sister, who is a first-yr at Scripps.

Memorable moment: hm.. sophomore year was pretty fun. On my birthday, a bunch of people were waiting outside my room to dunk me… but I jumped out with my super soaker and got them first. ;) I also really liked my trip to Big Bear during winter break. It’s when I first learned to snowboard (no injuries! I rock.)  11 people squeezed into a tiny cabin meant for 5. There were a few first yrs, sophomores, and juniors, and we were all friends of friends so it was fun getting to know people and watching each other wipe out.

James Mok

I was born left-handed at the USC hospital back in ’83 during the Ides of March. My parents were deciding between naming me either David or James, but ultimately decided to go with James because my dad is a James Bond fan. My family also includes a moody cat named Toby, who is trying to usurp my place as the only child in the family by scratching me whenever I come home and sleeping in my bed and covering it with his disgusting fur when I am away. Although I’m an only child, I grew up around a lot of cousins my age and am pretty close to them. I especially like hanging out with them because I realized at the age of 9 that I was much cooler than them, so anytime we hang out in public, I shine and emanate. Although I am 21 years old, I have not outgrown my love for video games. My suitemates and I play one particular video game – Smash Bros. for N64 – all the time. In fact, just last night I realized I have played more Smash Bros. this semester than I have spent doing school work. I would not like to use the word "pathetic" to describe this situation, but all other words avail me. I am one of the AAMP head mentors and I live in Clark I, room 115.

MENTORS!

Andy Nishimoto

Name:   Andy Nishimoto
Age:            20
Born:   Long Beach, CA (09.13.04)
From:   Germantown, TN
Interests:      video games, computer games, sleeping, eating, playing with
food,           getting good grades
Hobbies:  video games, computer games, sleeping, eating, playing with
food,           getting bad grades

Hello, I am Andy.  Um, what else to say...I live in Harwood 144!  You
should stop by every once in a while to say, "Hi, Andy!  Your room is
super cool!"  That would make me happy.  Right now, I take science
classes, since I have been thinking of majoring in Molecular Biology.
Yeah!
I usually am up fairly late, so if you are up late and sad that all
your hallmates have gone to sleep, you can usually bet that I am awake,
at least partially, and attempting to do my homework with my eyes
closed.  I find that nothing is more depressing than going to sleep
when the sun is rising, because then you hear the birds chirping and
the housekeeping staff starting to move around.  And that really bums
me out a lot, so I am trying to go to sleep earlier this year.
Let's see, um, I can tell you a few things about myself.  Um, I am not
good with computers.  Allergic to cats, mold, pollen, and sycamore
trees.  I have had as pets several goldfish, three or four hamsters, a
hermit crab, 3 skinks, and a duck.  I used to run track, but college
has made me lazier.  I have an uncanny ability to scratch when playing
pool.  I wun teh class speling bee in 6th and 7ht grade, but lost in
the schoolwide competition, which has forever made me bitter and
resentful toward the words "martyr" and "abdicate."  I like to watch
anime, tv shows, and movies in my room and stare at the walls during
class.  When I was small I used to watch transformers, reading rainbow,
rainbow brite, thunder cats, go-bots, he-man and the masters of the
universe, the muppet show, muppet babies, sesame street, mr rogers'
neighborhood, teenage mutant ninja turtles, ren and stimpy, fraggle
rock, the flintstones, the jetsons, captain planet, and scooby doo,
among others.  My favorite characters from the shows that I can
remember are hot rod, lavar burton, lionel, skeletor, gonzo, baby
ralph, grover, the speedy delivery guy, donetello, stimpy, the fraggle
who always played that flute and always had a band of  minstels
following him around, the dinosaur that fred slid down in the opening
sequence, elroy, the kid who had the power of earth, and a tie between
shaggy and scooby doo.  Anyway, I dont know if I have a picture of
myself, but not seeing me isn't a big loss anyway.

Kimberly Loo

K!M(berly) Loo loves dancing, dancing, dancing, dancing, dancing, and dancing.  Her hobbies are dancing, dancing, and dancing.  When she is not dancing, she is usually in a dance class.  She dances and laughs through everything--life included.

Other delicious items include Hawaii, chocolate souffle, surfing, fantasy art, fem.mus.artists, unagi, txt msgs, munkies, orson card books, dorkiness, laughiness, & flaming orange/insane colors.  If I'm ever wearing all black, it's a really really depressing day for me.  Please cheer me up.  If you see me coming at you on a skateboard, run.  I can't turn or stop.

    PSsst K!m likes to dance.

Cynthia Ting

Hello! I am a ___  year old sophomore born in Atlanta, citing Rochester, Minnesota as her hometown, but residing in San Jose, CA when not at Pomona. My hobbies include scaring the living daylights out of Wendy as she comes in to our room to borrow my Big-momma of a Brita filter, kids (not having them <gasp>, but playing with them), eating popsicles, being addicted to ebay! (hey its close to my house!), teaching Mariko how to pick up guys in chinese, and since supposedly i can play basketball, i do that too. I have a younger sister, 15, and a younger brother, 13 that used to be annoying but now are pretty darn cool. After taking Asian American Psychology last year i thought i was self-stereotyping myself into being a science major, but not anymore! THus, i will most likely major in Bio and minor in Psych. My favorite first year moments are when "innocent" Laura Laakso decided to trick me out of Mariko's room so that my sponsor group could dunk me in the fountain, and goin on a random LA trip via train with Ajoy, Laura, Emily, and Praveen when the people that were supposed to take us to the Getty didn't show up.

Sophia Cheng

My name is Sophia and I was born and raised in the East Bay.
1 It was warm in my mother's womb and windy outside
2 Pets I've had: chickens, rabbits (numerous), fish, cat, puppies, dog, turtles, birds
3 Favorite memory from freshman year: Everything funny that happened
4 Movie watched most times: Billy Madison
5 Hope for this year: Master my universe (less straight forward); improve cardiovascular strength (more straight forward); learn t

o cook (medium straight forward)

Jackie Chen (let it be known that she's gonna kill me)

Jackie grew up in mainly Moraga, California.  You haven’t heard of it, but it’s in the East Bay Area.  She has also lived in Waterloo, Belgium, which you should have heard of from your 9th grade World History class and if you haven’t, I feel sorry for you.  When she’s not being the best AAMP mentor ever, Jackie sings, acts as a choir manager, studies, sits on the Irvine Grant Committee, gives tours for the admissions office, and goes somewhere far away to get boba.  She plans to major in either psychology or math.  If you see Jackie around campus, you should offer to give her a massage because she is a massage fiend.  But do it in a nonsketchy way.

Mariko Yamazaki

I’m Mariko ("MAH-dee-koh").  I like long walks on the beach and candlelit dinners..

I was born and raised in West Los Angeles.  I have two older brothers and I'm definitely still a tomboy at heart.  I still don’t wear pink.  I love hip-hop and r&b.  I LOVE to eat.  My favorite sport is basketball (Lakers!).  I can usually watch an action/comedy movie multiple times and only watch a mushy romantic comedy once (at most).  As of right now, I'm a biology major & math minor.  I've truly embraced my inner nerd.

As a baby, I had a HUGE head.  When I was learning to walk, I'd fall a lot-- the slightest lean would completely throw off my center of gravity.  The big-head-skinny-body combo earned me the nickname "Mari-pop."  The only other nickname that ever stuck was given to me by my high school basketball coach.  I wasn't "Money" because of a jump shot... He just couldn't pronounce "Mariko" well enough to yell it across the court.  Sad, huh?

The first commercial song I heard and claimed as my favorite was "Poison" by Bel Biv Devoe.  My first movie nightmares came from The Little Mermaid.  (What? Ursula is sooooo scary when she gets all big at the end!!)  My dream wedding singer is Brian McKnight.  My favorite number is 35.  When I was little, I realized that no famous NBA player was #35 and decided that my destiny was to bring fame to that number.  It's working out pretty well so far, don't you think?  (first AAMP, then.. the WORLD!!)

Oh, I work for the athletics department on Wednesday & Thursday afternoons, so call me if you're bored and you’ll get to hear me say "Pomona-Pitzer P.E. Office. This is Mariko; how may I help you?" J

Jon Lee

I'm Jonathan Lee. People call me Jon or JonLee. I'm 19 years old and come from Los Angeles. I like doing all kinds of things including basketball, golf, surfing(i suck), singing, cello, violin, guitar, making absolutely retarded doodle pictures in my notes such as swords, lightning, batman symbols, ninjas, blobs, fire, beach balls(I get realllly sleepy and borderline-insane), my hand ...etc. I also often begin to doze off class and can attest to having too many of those trails of lines from letters after losing consciousness midway through writing a word. I also spend a lot of time thinking about what on earth I'm going to do with my life, what meaning life has (if any), and whether or not I should keep thinking about that stuff when I actually get nowhere in doing so. In general, I really like to learn how to do new things. I'm very easily inspired, so I'm always trying new things. Last semester I heard a good harmonica player soloing on his...harmonica...and I went out the day after and bought myself a harmonica. I also have tap shoes at home which i've never actuallly used....a hockey stick...and other random things. I just started taking violin lessons this semester. Anyway, I'm excited to have mentees that I can spoil and hope they all enjoy being spoiled.

Wendy Chu (she might kill me too)

My name is Wendy Chu and I'm 19 years old.  I was born and raised in Los Angeles.  I live in Lincoln Heights which is a community neighboring L.A.'s Chinatown.  I am thinking about majoring in either Neuroscience or Biology.  I have four other sisters and no brothers.  In the line up, I am number four of five kids.  I love eating and sleeping, although those aren't really hobbies.  Screaming really loud and singing off-key is fun too.

Stephanie Lin

My name's Stephanie Lin and I was born and brought up in Sugar Land, Texas, a suburb of Houston.  During junior year, my family moved to Singapore, so I spent a semester there.  My family, which includes a little brother who's 16, recently moved to Northern California.  This past summer, I spent a month in Europe, a month in Houston, and a month campaigning for Kerry in Oregon.  As a consequence of living in Houston, I'm the most hardcore Houston Rockets fan I know (Yao and TMac! *shiver*).  Also, I enjoy Texas Longhorns college football and Astros baseball.  I am addicted to: 1) boba, 2) caffeine, especially in the form of coffee, 3) politics, especially this presidential election, as the signs on my door attest to, 4) AIM, 5) staying up late for no reason talking to people, 6) nostalgia, 7) good music and good books that make me forget who/where I am, 8) people I love.  I'm currently reading The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie, and I'm listening to Modest Mouse, 3 Colours Red, and Mirah.  I'm thinking I'm going to major in Public Policy Analysis with a Politics emphasis and minor in Asian American Studies.

Mariel Rivera

My name is Mariel and I am just this side of 19. I love my hometown of Berkeley and the Bay Area. I encourage all worthwhile people to go there, and if you bash it I don't like you. Things you may feel free to bash include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Pomona party scene, and people who hurt girls' self-esteem. I am completely centered around my family, which = 1 mom, 1 dad, and 1 sister. My sister goes to USC and I see her as much as I can. She is basically my replica but people find her personality warmer. I am more shy. People say often that I am intimidating and confident. I think that means they think I am arrogant and talk too much. I don't think that is true. Although I like to tell myself that I am A Force of Nature. It makes me feel amazing and special. I do think that I am a compassionate person, although that is not my defining characteristic (that would be my height, 4'11''). I would feel sorry for a murderer of twenty babies if he looked like he felt really crappy. And I will feel sorry for you too.

Like many people, I enjoy food, television, and music. What food? Taiyaki and Japanese curry. And Cam Huong in Oakland Chinatown. What tv? CSI and Alias. What music? Badly Drawn Boy, the Cardigans, the Faint, Sondre Lerche, Cibo Matto, France Gall, anything wonderful... I think music is incredible and my favorite material possession is my subwoofer which is the best birthday gift I ever got. It makes my room shake. I also like saving money, curling up under covers, and daydreaming about the future while jotting notes. I'm not going to graduate school.

Roseanne Lazer (oh they trust me to put up good pics)

My name is Roseanne. I'm 19. I'm from Santa Maria, which is probably the biggest of the 'pretty boring' cities on the central coast of california. Santa Maria is near Lompoc, of which I'm sure you've never heard. That city is way worse; don't go there. I went to a boarding high school called Cate School near Santa Barbara . Yes, I had a lot of fun, and no, that doesn't mean my parents don't love me. They love me so much, it's sometimes more than i can handle. They're awesome. I'm half Korean (mom's side), and half something European-German-I-am-not-too-sure. I don't get to spend a lot of time with my extended family from either side, but I have been to Korea about six times. In fact, I was there this summer, spending most of my time in Seoul taking classes at Yonsei University, traveling around on the highly efficient subway, and generally turning into a melted blob. (I have never experienced hotter, more humid weather.) Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing experience. Ask me about it.
I will become overly interested to the point of scariness if you bring up any of the following concepts or things: theoretical B.S. like race and power dynamics, philosophical issues, the politics of sex, society, education, everything. And since almost anything can be related to politics, by the transitive property, i am interested in everything. No, that is not the end of the list. I love to sing. I love loud music with lots of bass, and I become a completely different person at good concerts. (I will not debate the definition of 'good'.) I prefer nighttime to daytime. My favorite Bath and Body Works product line is the mango mandarin body butter. You should read the play 'Equus' by Peter Schaffer (I'm pretty sure that's his name). I used to hate raw fish--even smoked salmon, which isn't technically raw--but sushi is growing on me, fast. Probably because I want to be chic like the rest of you cool people that distinguish yourselves by eating raw things. I am not substance free, but a lot of my friends are. My first love was and still is, the Pacific Ocean. Chandelier earrings ARE the perfect accessory, and contrary to popular belief, they can and will complement any outfit.
I'm trying pretty hard to be interesting, so that you'll come talk to me. I live in Harwood 281, and don't let them tell you i'm mean. I'm as not mean as a Jelly Belly bean. Yeah.
I disclaim here: If you ever find my humor offensive, I'm being insensitive, and you have my permission to slap me. (Softly. And not on the face, or anywhere inappropriate).

Cathy Hwang

Le Bio de Duck

Cathy Hwang is a sophomore at Pomona College and a potential IR and Econ double major.  She lives in the Chinese hall of the Oldenborg labyrinth, in the Cathy-squared suite, with her suitemate, also Cathy.  She has a mom, a dad, and an eleven-year-old sister.  Her family currenly lives in San Diego, California, but she has also lived in St. Louis, Taipei and Hong Kong, and considers Hong Kong her favorite city in the world.  In addition to AAMP, Cathy is involved in the five-college Debate Union and writes for The Student Life.  In her spare time, Cathy likes read books about politics (at least that's what Amazon.com seems to think, as they continue to recommend political books to her), write complicated Chinese characters for their therapeutic value, swim, drink coffee frappachinos with extra whipped cream (hint, hint), brush her teeth with her cool Sonicare toothbrush that vibrates in a cool fashion, travel to interesting places (like Italy, home of the best ice cream in the world--ice cream is another one of Cathy's great loves...please send your excess rocky road and coffee ice cream to her), and waddle around pretending she is a duck.  She also does a wicked good impression of a goomba (those mushroom-like creatures from Super Mario) and vehemently denies that she has a Mario addiction.  Her great loves in life are her family and friends (awwwwwwwww!), ducks (both to look at and to eat), Chinese food, reading fiction, and proclaiming the wonderfulness of economic concepts.  She also likes pillows and clouds.

Eric Yoo

What's up, my name is Min Yoo, but I go by Eric...or pretty much anything as long as you make eye contact and maybe even excessive flapping of arms. People generally like to make up cute nicknames for me like asshole or jerk, but I usually go by Eric...or Chicky...or Miny...or Yoom...I am from a crappy little town called La Canada which is not too unlike the crappy town of Claremont. My birthday is on February 12 (I'm sure all of you know it because it is also Abraham Lincoln's b-day) and I am currently 19.5. I like to...talk to people, waste time, make plans that I know I will not follow through with, hate the world, and hang out at late hours. I like to think I am chill and easy-going, and I also like to think I'm cool. But I'm not cool according to many a wise personses. I like to hear stories about other people, even if they involve my repeated imaginary deaths. One of my fondest memories of last year is when I was talking on my cell phone in my room and my room-mate was horrified at the way I talked to my good friend. Good times. I am living in Blazedell Basement room #2 if you are ever bored, so make sure to drop by. I am sometimes entertaining.

Shane Harris

I'm a Sophomore at Pomona College majoring in philosophy. My home is in
Kobe, Japan and my Japanese name is Noda Seitarou (last name first). I
am not funny or cool. Some people think I’m wierd which I take as a
compliment, though maybe difficult is a better choice of word. My
closest friends say they don’t get me which is understandable because
most of the times I don’t understand myself either. As if it isn't
obvious I'm very conscious about how people see me which I don't think
is a good thing. I thrive off tragedy. I love playing soccer and
singing heals me. I hate the word 'objective' and people who use it as
if it makes their stupid opinion any better. Love is most important in
my life; second is ideas and abstractions.

Vivian Chen

Howdy! Vivian here! I'm 19, obsessed with beavers (the animal of course!), and overly excitable! I was born in San Francisco, the hippest, quirkiest, and most eccentric city in the world, and I absolutely love living there.  I have a younger sister who's 13, and she's also obsessed with a Canadian animal, the moose!  I hate writing these bios because I feel like I'm forced to sum up my entire life in one paragraph, but I figure I can try to make this fun.  Ok. So here goes nothing. Err...so, my favorite color is green, which is essential to understanding me.  I love all green things. I love trees. I love climbing trees. I love grass. I love rolling around in grass and running in grass in my bare feet. I love leaves. Green leaves.  Fall-colored leaves are nice too.  Speaking of fall-colored leaves, one of the things on my "Things to Do before I Die" list is to spend a fall/winter in New England so I can feel and taste the crisp air and watch the beautiful leaves change colors.  I like bicycling, and another one of the things on my "To Do" list is to bike cross country and see all of America.  I love music; I think I'd die if I were deaf because music, to me, is so evocative and beautiful and wonderful.  My two favorite musical instruments are the piano and guitar.  I've been playing piano since I was six years old, but I stopped the last few years.  I still love the piano to death, though, and listening to it just captivates me.  I also have an obsession with guitars and guitar players.  Last year, there was a guy in my dorm who played guitar all the time and sang really well; every time I listened to him, I would literally fall into a trance and end up falling in love with both the guitar and the guitar player during the time he'd play.  So beware, kiddos, if you are a guitar player with an awesome voice, I WILL fall in love with you if you play and sing well enough.  How did I get to this point? Anyway, moving on, I also have an intense fascination with stars.  They speak to me, they move me, and when I see so many stars in the night sky, I feel like crying with joy inside. I LOVE STARS!  If you ever see a person laying down in the middle of Marston Quad in the middle of the night, looking at the stars, that'll be me, the obsessed star gazer.  What else do I want to tell you about myself?  Um...I guess I'll go through my academic interests in an effort to...go through my academic interests. I'm going to be a PPE major and English minor. I hate math and science with a passion, but I love books to death.  I love Walt Whitman.  I like Thoreau's Walden because it makes me think about the world.  I don't know what I want to do when I grow up (I'm only 19 years young!), but I think that at some point in my life, I want a career working with kids.  I love kids to death (not literally), and I think that we are all children at heart.  Their honesty and candidness is so refreshing, and being around kids makes me burst with happiness.  So, that's why I want to work with kids when I grow up.  Plus, I feel like I am quite silly and childish sometimes, so it's easy for me to sympathize with and relate to children.  When I grow up into a big big adult, I also want to marry Adam Brody.  Well, if I can't marry Adam "Beautiful" Brody, then I'd like to marry somebody who dresses in that trendy way that Adam Brody does, plays guitar, and thinks like Cornel West.  Yes, an Adam Brody/Cornel West hybird would be awesome!  And how did I get to this point again? I feel so random.  I think I'm going to end this now.  So today, you've learned that I love beavers, nature, music, books, stars, guitar players, and that I'm silly, childish, and random.  Oh yes, one more thing: I (still) love Hanson!  I left a lot out, and I can't remember what I left out.  Just ask me when you see me, and I'll try to explain myself as best as I can.  So that'll be all for now. Peace, love, and bullet-proof marshmallows!
